The World’s Most Powerful And Fastest Alfa Romeo

The most powerful and fastest street-legal Alfa Romeo ever made is made by Novitec, the world leader in tuning for Alfa Romeo, Fiat and Lancia.
The power output of the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione and 8C Spider, is raised to 600 bhp / 441 kW thanks to a high-tech supercharger system. The supercharged 8C reaches an impressive top speed of 305 kph.
In addition, the tuner offers a stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system, a custom-tailored tyre/wheel combination with 21- and 22-inch diameters and a height-adjustable sports suspension.

The limited-edition sports car is based on the technology of the Maserati GT. Due to this Novitec adapted a development of the sister company Novitec Tridente, which specializes in tuning the models carrying the trident emblem, to the 8C. The high-tech supercharger conversion for the 4.7-litre V8 was modified to fit into the Alfa Romeo 8C's engine bay.

The supercharger is driven by a poly-V-belt and boosts the power output of the 8C's eight-cylinder four-valve engine even at very low engine speeds. The maximum boost pressure is limited to 0.37 bar. A water-to-air intercooler with a dedicated radiator and water assures low intake air temperatures. A remapped engine ECU ensures a potent and harmonious output curve and clean emissions.

The performance figures are impressive: the supercharger conversion boosts the power output of  the 450 bhp / 331 KW Alfa-V8 by 150 bhp / 110 KW. The maximum rated power output of 600 bhp / 441 kW is reached at 7.300 rpm. The maximum torque of 588 Nm is reached at 5.400 rpm.

The Novitec-tuned 8C reaches a performance level never before attained by a street-legal Alfa Romeo. The acceleration from rest to 100 kph is reduced to only 3,9 seconds. The top speed increases from standard 290 kph to 305 kph.

The optional Novitec stainless-steel sport exhaust system for the Alfa Romeo 8C offers more than just power yield. The integrated flap system varies the exhaust note depending on the engine speed from sporty to racing-like. The exhaust system with its four tailpipes is designed to perfectly fit into the standard opening in the rear bumper.

While the body of the 8C Competizione or Spider remains untouched, Novitec adds some thrilling highlights to the appearance of the two-seater with three-piece NA3 wheels. To further emphasize the wedge-shape design of the 8C, the specialists chose a combination of 9x21 inch rims at the front and 11,5x22-inch rims at the rear axle. The alloy wheels feature five double spokes and are available in any desired color.
The height-adjustable Novitec coil-over suspension is precisely calibrated to these king-sized wheels. It allows each driverto select a ride-height and damper rates to suit his or her personal taste.
